What is the Brand Visibility Index?

The Brand Coverage (X-axis) represents the % of brand coverage and the Likelihood to Buy (Y-axis) is calculated from the average position in the answers of AI searches.

High Brand Coverage + High Likelihood to Buy

  • Frequently appear in AI answers
  • Ranked early in the response (top positions on average)
  • AI engines consistently surface them as primary options

Niche

Low Brand Coverage + High Likelihood to Buy

  • Appear in fewer AI answers overall
  • When mentioned, they rank high in the response
  • Strong relevance, but limited reach

Low Conversion

High Brand Coverage + Low Likelihood to Buy

  • Frequently mentioned across AI answers
  • Usually ranked lower in the response
  • AI references them, but not as a top choice

Low Performance

Low Brand Coverage + Low Likelihood to Buy

  • Rarely appear in AI answers
  • When mentioned, ranked low in the response
  • Minimal consideration by AI engines
